I had to go to ask.com as GIMP help has no index.

I got this info;

"The pad buttons and eventual touch strips are instead linked directly to
normal keyboard keys.
Under Windows or Macintosh the buttons/slider on the tablet (the "pad"
device) setup is handled by the Windows/Mac driver installer and
configuration program you get with the board. Linux users should refer to
