I'm pondering the value of getting Apple certified, as well as what training materials to use. How useful is an Apple certification in getting a job? How difficult are the tests? What certifications are there (there seem to be a confusing array of them)? If I do decide to get Apple certification, what materials should I use? There's Apple's own "Applecare Technician Training", which costs $300. Then there are books by Peachtree (or is it Peach Pit?), which seem to run from about $75 - $100. I've already repaired and/or upgraded dozens of Macs over the years, as well as having an A+ certification and a dozen years of experience fixing PCs Given that, how much trouble does the list think I'd have passing the tests?
