Howdy, A hub is cheap, and works for a lot of things. What do you want to plug in? Each USB hub on the computer can drive .5 amps. If you are plugging in multiple devices that need power, you may need a powered hub or the pci card. Not all PCI USB cards work in the Mac. Look in the archives for messages about that, or wait for further responses here. If I knew specifics on that, I'd give it to you. I remember having to be carefule when I bought my PCI USB 2.0 card.
