I switched out a QS 2002 Dual 1GHz mobo, and it wasn't too hard.
Arranging the screws so I'd know where they went back was important.
I moved my still working Dual 1GHz cpu from the old board to the new
one. Was a bit nerve wrecking, but it went smoothly.

When I took apart a Yikes! for cleaning, I took digital pictures
along the way ...

Suggestions: don't force anything ... whether coming out or going
back in ... be rested when you work on it, and take breaks.

I don't know anything about putting a QS cpu in a Gigabit Ethernet.
Can you do that?

I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to advise over the internet ... I
am far from an expert, and I really need to see what's going on at
the moment ... so I can only wish you good luck at this point!
