Back when it was an Apple II product Appleworks sold for about $279 or  
so, at its *most* expensive. My Applewriter II box still has it's  
$129.99 price tag on it.

I'm hard pressed to think of ANY Apple II software EVER that cost  
$600, perhaps some of the weird Pascal systems maybe.
