I have a PowerMac G4 Mirror Drive Doors. DP 867MHZ, 1.75GB Ram, 250GB, 160GB, 80GB, 80GB HD'S, Combo drive, 10 USB Ports.
I have been having modem troubles, I am still on dial up. (regrettably.) When the computer is first started up it will connect fine and run fine on the internet. After the computer has been up for several days, it has trouble connecting. Some times it will say the device isn't ready. If I continue trying though it will eventually connect and work fine. What is the problem???? I never shut this machine down as it is the file server. I have cleaned the connections on the modem and made sure that it is seated properly. Thanks!!!! -Jonas --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
