Have I got some sort of malware? I keep getting downloads of folders
called "Desktop" (or rather "Desktop-1", "Desktop-2", etc.) while
using Safari 4.0 (with Webkit) under OS 10.4.11 on my G4 Sawtooth.

They happen when I switch from one URL to another, but don't
correspond to any URL. Sometimes (pretty frequently) when I enter a
new URL and load it, Safari's Downloads window pops up and shows the
thing being downloaded. There seems to be nothing in the folder, but
the files do appear in my user folder, and my actual Desktop seems
to be undisturbed. So far, I've just trashed them out of my user
folder and cleared Safari's Downloads window.

Anyone heard of such a thing?

Joe
