Fellow Groupies, Somehow, for the second time this year, my keyboard has been remapped somehow. I cannot type the following characters
colon, semi-colon, ampersand, at sign, apostrophe, question mark, comma when using the nine-key number pad (almost anything about the numbers actually) Is there some way this happens with a keystroke combo System details G4 MDD 867 dual processor PowerPC Mac OS X version 10.4.11 For some reason, this only happens to corrupt the system (all user accounts inclusive) that I (actually kids) are working on at the time it occurs. I have tried other keyboards and other USB ports. The only way I have found to work this out is to update system software on an older system backup.
