OnyX (or Deeper if using a non-admin account) disables Dashboard, kills its processes, and restarts the Dock - like it should. But the Dock keeps the arrow on the Dashboard icon. (You can see with Activity Monitor that the Dashboard processes are gone). Just grab that icon and poof it off the Dock. To re-enable Dashboard, check the box in OnyX. It will do its thing and restart the Dock. Then you need to manually launch Dashboard.app and manually drag its icon onto the Dock. - Dan. -- - Psychoceramic Emeritus; South Jersey, USA, Earth. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed Low End Mac's G3-5 List, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
