I repaired permissions, and the desktop issue was resolved. After I
press the internal re-set button for a few seconds, I can then press
the external button(switch) and the computer will boot up. I will try
replacing the power supply. The locall Apple Store said the computer
is too old fort them to stock parts or repair. Any ideas on where I
can verify the correct replacement power supply needed by my Power Mac
G4 MMD dual 867mz? I'd like to order one on-line and have someone help
me replace it.
