Best possible:

Any Broadcom chipset 802.11n PCI card under OS X 10.4.11 with enabler
script bcm43xx_enabler.sh available here:
<http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=51725>

This will be recognized as Apple "Airport", and will function
identically to OEM Apple 802.11n wireless.

You may also be able to use USB devices IF you have a USB 2.O PCI card
in the Smurf. Don't use the built-in USB 1.1 for any wireless unless
you have no alternative.
