First start with determining the tech specs of every stick by going to:
<http://www.chipmunk.nl/DRAM/ChipManufacturers.htm>
It's a Dutch site but in English as well.

It will be hard to find out which stick will be useable in which computer.
The way around will be easier. If you have a correct list of the available
sticks and you or anybody else need(s) (a) RAM-stick(s) for a certain
computer (Mac or PC), you can simply look in the list if its there.

Sorry, but this is the most simple solution for your problem I can think of.

HTH,

Jo Hissel
