CoolKat More viruses have been released for PPC-based macs than Intel ones: every virus ever released for the old Mac OS, except some of the VERY old ones, like WDEF, were released for OS 9 and lower. There have been ZERO widespread OSX viruses in the wild; the few exploits that have garnered notice have had very little, unreliably reported spread in the wild (for example, I firmly believe that anything Intego says about viruses in the wild should be discounted. They're FUD-meisters of the highest degree). Viruses and malware are *OS*-specific, not CPU-specific. -- Bruce Johnson "Wherever you go, there you are" B.
