This is a true freeze - screen does nothing, mouse cursor does not move? Or is it a panic or some other type of crash? Between the upgraded CPU and the xtra drives - that's a lot of heat. So my first instinct is - what Len said. Try running with the door open and see if that changes the behavior any. Try adding some air flow - a fan blowing in there etc. Find out exactly where you stand wrt heat.
