There's this magical device found in most homes and businesses, that has a numeric keypad; you enter a specific sequence and you can talk to someone. DVD encoding is almost entirely processor dependent; the only thing that speeds up DVD creation is a faster computer. When you asked earlier it sounded as though you needed a DVD authoring systems, which is the program that sets up the interface, the chapters, etc etc; all of those then go on to encode the video correctly which is what takes so long.
