I ran one in a Sawtooth with a 200w PS for a couple of years with no
probs - depends on usage I guess - I say that because I don't actually know
for definite why the 300w is a recommendation but the 9800 has variable
power draw according to usage. Perhaps a bigger PS would be advisable for
heavy 3d gaming or whatever - for general usage even 200w seems ok as long
as the mac is not maxed out with other power drawing components.
