Okay I did all this over the weekend and everything went just swimmingly. This leaves me with just one more question that again shows my ignorance about OS 10.4: How do I "kick the 'new user' account off the system"? Just put it in the trash? Naturally, I am terrified that I will do something that will cause all my software to malfunction and the Pismo to crash.
