Sounds like the folder is corrupted in some way.

Try creating a new folder (on your source), move all the files into 
it, then trashing the original.

Pls lemme know when you do - I'm curious to see what's happening. 
Ran a few tests here and CCC seems fine grabbing/moving Thunderbird 
files.
