Well, I've found this:
        http://www.welovemacs.com/apg4du1dpaup1.html
(Look at the schematics on top - the JPEG illustration has the part numbers on
it.)

For the MDD (original: FW400) the following CPUs exist:
661-2711 867 MHz (DP)
661-2712 1.0 GHz (N3?) (DP?)
661-2730 1.0 GHz (N5?) (DP?)
661-2707 1.25 GHz (DP)

For the FireWire-800 (MDD FW800) the following CPUs exist:
661-2711 867 MHz (SP)
661-2784 1.0 GHz (SP)
661-2797 1.25 GHz (DP?)
661-2799 1.42 GHz (DP)

For the "Mirrored Drive Doors 2003":
661-2914 1.25 GHZ (SP)

For an overview you way want to start at this place:
MDD: http://www.welovemacs.com/g4midosepa.html
FW800: http://www.welovemacs.com/g4fisepa.html

Interesting, all CPU service parts start with "661" - for every model I've
looked at (including the original G4 Yikes up to the G5s).

I hope I didn't confuse you. Maybe there is a better place to look.

Cheers,
Andreas aka Mac User #330250
