I can tell you that I've used other webcams in the past and recently tried this one Logitech | QuickCam Vision Pro USB Webcam for Mac | 960-000254 and it wasn't a week after I switched back to my iSight... If you really want to do the ichat/AIM thing, the iSight is your baby. The thing that really hurts most folks is the system requirements for the isight Apple - Support - Discussions - iSight System Requirements (dumb ... I know there are other people that have had reasonable success with USB webcams and software third party fixes macam : USB webcam support for Mac OS X but I don't honestly believe there's much better out there than an isight cam, a mac running Mac OS X 10.4.11 with at least a G4 processor... If you've got those? you're in like flinn as somebody once said. Jeff
