I just purchased a used iBook G4 running OS-10.4. Kernel panics happen
sometimes before I can get my email checked. Other times, after a
re-start, the panics would not occur for 45 minutes or so.

I've re-installed using a different copy of OS-10.4 but the kernel panics
still happen. I've tried applejack and repairing anything that can be
repaired with software, but no effect.

What diagnostic path should I follow to isolate the panic to a piece of
hardware or even a software hardware interaction.
