Question: Do I have to boot my G4 in OS 9 if I want to install OS 9
software, or can I simply launch Classic and then install the old
software?

An example of this dilemma: OSX informs me that the version of
QuickTime that I have installed in my Classic System Folder is not
recommended. If I download a newer version of Quick Time, how do I
install it, and will it interfere in any way with OSX?

Thanks,

Larry
