I had some old inkjet ink (HP) that I recently had to use at one of my schools. The old ink refused to flow....so here is how I got it working. Hot water. Run the metal contacts on the print cartridge under hot running water for a couple of minutes then blot dry. It solved my problem with the misbehaving cartridge.
