I have a MDD 1. Dual. I have occasionally had the fan get up and stay up. I think I went to Apple downloads and got an update for this. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me that the temp would climb if the fan is working properly. If the fan is running then the temp shouldn't rise. Under the port holes in the front is a grill that gets plugged up I assume this is clean. Are both CPUs running hot?
