My PowerBook 2000 (Pismo) has an installed Airport card which greatly facilitates using it at home and away from home.. Installing a 100 ft ethernet cable would have required drilling holes to support stringing the cable through the basement of my older house ... not to mention needing at least a hub or preferably a switch to share the connection with other computers. - Maretta -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
