Last time I looked ... which admittedly was a few months ago ... Netflix instant video (or whatever they call it) required either Microsoft's Silverlight v3 on a Windows or Mac computer or use of a "Netflix ready device" such as Tivo, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, et alia http://www.netflix.com/NetflixReadyDevices Hulu uses flash. Perhaps that is what you were thinking of? -irrational john
