What is the age and processor type for your G4? My G4 iBook is a late
2005/early 2006 model with a 1.42GHz G4, and its max RAM is 1.5GB;
512MB is built-in to the motherboard.

I run Leopard Server on mine, and it runs OK. If we knew the specs of
your rig, it might help. Leopard Server doesn't exactly run super fast
like 10.4 did. I really like its feature set, though, so I've just
stayed with it.
