I tried several back in 2006, including some bundled apps that were free to use, and in the end chose to buy CDFinder. I have been pleased with it, continue to use it, and recommend it.
I have my CDs, Tapes, disks and LPs catalogued with DataBase software....AppleWorks. Works fine.
