Did you install any other OS like Jaguar, Panther or Tiger??? What you need to do is hold down the "C" key before you boot it up and make sure the disc is cleaned off too with no scratches, then try doing the install... I have 3 Clamshells and I have done this with running Jaguar and OS 9.2.2 and I load OS 9 first doing a clean install then I would run the 2 disc's for Jaguar the same way and it never erased 9 (I even think I did this the other way around doing Jag first and it still put both OS's in?) I would do the install again and make it a clean install so it cleans anything that might have been installed the first time... Good Luck!!!
Yeah, you can install OS9 after OSX. -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
