So was it lawyers or just this firm is evil? (not being a watcher)
Buffyverse lore tells us that evil is relative, and even vampires can
be heroes.
The Senior Partners of WR&H are all demons, and the firm, in one form
or another, seems to be eternal. The early plot lines regarding WR&H
are centered around two young lawyers there, that haven't quite
fallen solidly onto either path, yet. (The computer in question was
on the desk of a regular (human) Partner).
It's an interesting quandary, really... Are beings intrinsically good
or evil, or is it their acts that define them? And are lawyers
considered evil, by default, until proven otherwise? But then just
where does Denny Crane fit?
Saw two other Macs on the tube last night. They were both al type
powerbooks, G4 or maybe x86. They had Windows on their screens.
