See right here is that same pernicious lie: "oooh we must pwotect the poor widdle windows users!!!" that I find so damned irritating, condescending and flat out wrong.

Again, if the "poor widdle windows users" aren't already protected, we're not gonna cause them problems, because they got infected on their own a long time ago; and if they are, anything we give them will be properly flagged.

I mean, hell, this is as if, as you were walking down the street some disheveled junkie handed you a used syringe. You don't need it, but you pass it along to your diabetic friend, who then uses it and gets hepatitis. Huh??

That's about the same scenario in real world terms.
