The OP also stated it was "5 years old" which if true seems to rule out a MacBook, no? I believe the MacBook was introduced in November, 2006 which is less than 4 1/2 years ago. Then again, perhaps the OP was just rounding up? I would paraphrase what I think is your intent as "If this is about a G4 laptop, then clarify this by providing more info about which model it is. But if it *is* about a MacBook, then move the discussion to the MacBook list."
