I just saw a used one on ebay yesterday for $135. It might still be
there if you hurry.

Mac cards are more because there are fewer of them made than PC cards
and demand from hobbyists is high. I'm trying to get Radeons for my
beige Powermacs but can't afford them yet. I had to buy a bunch of
Rage 128 Pro's because the cheapest Radeon I could find was a 7000
with 32megs for $30. This would be a $10 card for a PC. I have 7
machines to upgrade so for me to shell out $30 or more for each one is
out of the question. If you've ever flashed a video card before, some
PC cards can be flashed with a Mac ROM and work but you have to know
what you're doing. Some professional flashers (not the kind with the
long raincoats) sell cards on ebay or in some Mac related forums so
you might find a better deal than buying a Mac edition card there.
