I didn't keep details of the sellers ( both items have been deleted off ebay )but the PCMCIA to CF adapter was a no-name cheap one. You don't really need an expensive one ( $35+) as they are a simple board with just pins and wires to connect one to the other. A PC only card will work in any laptop including Macs that adhere to the PC card protocols. Just make sure it can read either Type l , Type ll or both types of cards ( depends on which variety CF card you buy of course )

Mostly though if you stick to Kingston, Transcend, SanDisk etc you should be fine.
