I see. Haha mac users don't need to upgrade their video cards because macs
already run very well. I mean come on. It's kind of pathetic that my old mac
runs faster than my recent windowz laptop. Back on topic, is there any way to
enable quartz extreame on a card that doesn't support it? I may or may not
upgrade; I really would like quartz extreame. And could I upgrade the RAM on my
stock card? Sorry to be asking so many questions :)

You can't compare Apples and oranges. And Microsoft is the orange here.

Thanks. That's a great site. Maybe I'll pick a cheap card up when I have the
cash and flash it. Why do they make mac compatible cards more expensive? Is it
because "macs cost more
and that means that mac owners have more money"?

Economies of scale. Fewer Macs in the wild mean fewer cards made and
sold and thus more expensive cards. Most Mac owners probably don't
bother to upgrade their video cards, either.
