Hi: I just got a digital audio 533mhz dual (798mb memory, ATI Rage 128 Pro graphics). I put in partitions with panther, tiger and leopard to test performance differences. None of them quite played clean youtube, but 10.3 was the closest. So I ran Monolingual (which discards extra languages) and threw out some apps I don't use. Then loaded the latest Opera browser, and that allowed Panther to run youtube cleanly. Also, before I went through this I saw and used a suggestion to use mobile youtube (http://m.youtube.com/) and that worked too.
