well I finally got a replacement board and was able to replace it without Mickey mousing, how ever it does require some logical skill. The board did not fix the dead port, so I've ordered a cable in hopes it's the culprit. If not are there any suggestions as to the cause. I've run ASD 2.5.8 and it reports all's well.
