Is it an iBook, PowerBook, PowerMac? Consider upgrading to at least Jaguar (OS X 10.2), or upgrade to Mac OS 8.6. Mac OS 8.6 is the earliest OS I know of that works with any of my AirPort cards. Any Mac OS that is earlier than 10.0 is so old to me, I wouldn't even consider using it. Mac OS was a very stable and amazing OS, but to me it is aging, old, boring, and basically incompatible with anything I throw at it, such as multiple monitors, Mac OS X software, games, MORE THAN 1.5GB OF RAM, and other things. But basically, I have 5 options that I would take either one if I was in your shoes.
