I would remove the 2 ATA drives to reduce heat (your PSU can probably handle 4 internal drives). Consider 2 partitions on the new drive, one for a bootable cloned system and a larger one for backups, data, etc. If you are no longer using SCSI devices you could pull the old Adeptec card.
