iMovie still plays back video I take on my iSight attached to that

Explain please "scant tracking". This and the above phrases just
don't do much for describing your difficulty. Kindof like saying
your car won't go - and pointing us to a possible engine problem,
without mentioning that you didn't open your garage door or that you
removed the gas tank.
I thought adding the RAM would increase the speed with which it can
process video.
It will, if your set-up was memory poor in the first place.
This is goofy. I mean, it's only an iSight video. We're not talking
about high-quality video here. Even my nano's video shots have a
jumpiness to them.
Do the videos play properly in other apps - like QuickTime Player or VLC?
What else do you have running on that computer at the same time?
