The Radeon 9800 series ( 4X AGP ) is probably the best video oomph for your
dollar.
Check out ebay for flashed PC cards from respectable sellers.
A 9800 128mb card is about $90-$100
A 9800 256mb card is about $130-$150
It depends on how much you are willing to pay.
Then there are the excellent nvidia cards like the 256mb 6800 GS and GT which
start at $220+
Note the original Mac versions of these cards above are nearly double that in
price that is why so many Mac users buy ex-PC cards that have been flashed to
work on a Mac.
