Ok I just fired up the G4 MDD Dual 1.25 in 10.5.8 and the Disk Utility chokes out wit h an error "Could not establish communication with helper tool" The same error on the G5. So I'm assuming this to be a Software problem. I also rebooted the MDD in Tiger and the operation is successful. So it just must be 10.5.8 on PPC?? The issue just cannot only be at my Condo on just my machines, or can it?
