Hey everybody, it's Mark again. I recently bought a PM G4 Dual 1Ghz quicksilver tower. It has 1GB RAM, 80GB HDD, and either 32 or 64MB ATI RADEON 9600 AGP graphics card. I bought it for a bargain because the people who i bought it from said there is a problem with the power supply box. Before it stopped working, it ran Leopard faster than a peregrine falcon could fly. Here is one thing i want to know. Why won't a regular ATX power supply box work here? And why does it use a non-standard power supply box? Also, I am looking up to upgrading the video card BIG TIME. I have an Nvidia GeForce 6800GT with 256MB VRAM and it goes into the AGP slot. It is a PC card... i think. But is there any way to rescue my quicksilver? I really want to know if my video card would be compatible, also, if anyone has a spare quicksilver PM G4 power supply. I cannot waste this precious quicksilver, because out of all of my PowerPC G4 macs, it is the creme of the crop. Besides that i have an Early 2010 intel iMac, but my quicksilver is something i really like, and i really don't want to waste any PowerPC Macs.
