Anyway, it was the Apple DVD player that was mostly having issues. The movies would be stopping and way out of sync as Mac OS 9's DVD player could be a lot of the time. iTunes rentals do mostly OK with a few stutters, which is not unusual for a low end G4 slightly below the 1GHz mark, plus no Core image hardware only software support. But, it Does support Quartz extreme.
