John , if you go that Sonnet card on ebay I linked to , then he has both the
instruction manual as a pdf and also the link for the Sonnet firmware download.
You need both the Apple and Sonnet firmware updates otherwise your Cube won't
recognise the new processor.
Usually the seller of the CPU supplies the original Sonnet CD with these on but
he may have lost it.
