I must come to Mark's defense here. FWIW. I've read in the past a post by
someone I think maybe Bruce J about the ability to boot from USB on PPC
machines direct not through OS 9, however I never quite was able to figure how,
anyway I read one of Mark's posts a while back and he explained how to do it
and he's totally right on with it. I even carry a 4GB USB stick in my pocket to
dazzle my friends at the Apple store/repair depot with it. Just plug it in any
PPC Mac with a USB port and do the opt select and up it comes.

The FW or powered USB drive isn't needed. So this opens a lot of possibilities
for machines without DVD drives for system installs and trouble shooting. Disk
Warrior is a good example.

Thanks for explaining that Mark:-)
