Greetings,
I was going some boxes and discovered a Zenith View All. Does
anybody know if this will work on a G4 DA?
Is it a model PCZ 150? A mirror of an old site (there is a compuserve
email address on it of 70007,4454 to give you an idea of the
age-1996) at
<http://www.atarimax.com/freenet/freenet_material/6.16and32-

or

has the folowing to say
A stand-alone set-top box, the PCZ150, also will be available to
customers who wish to transfer images from their computers to
their Zenith television sets but lack the SuperPort technology to
take advantage of the PCZTV cards. By bringing computer
applications to the big screen, we're addressing the
needs of businesses and schools for true PC-ready TVs," says Breet
Moyer, Zenith's general manager of commercial products.
"Integrating Focus technology into these sets represents another
industry first for Zenith in providing leading- edge technology to
commercial TV users."
The mention of Focus and the description tells me that this is to use
your monitor output and converts it to a TV. It is probably just a
rebranded Focus Technology item.
There is an ebay auction for one up, and it shows a floppy from Focus.
My guess is that is was used for presentations before projectors were
cheap. Can you use it with a DA? Don't know. If it is just a hardware
converter, probably. Just set your resolution real low and plug it
in. Being paranoid, I would try it first with an old pci video card
incase something has gone bad over the years.
