i recommend ebay... a high valued seller will be choice... have look at them... ask production date of battery wherever you buy it. it is going lose its value with time even if it is not used. Be careful about that situation.
http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m570.l1313&_nkw=A1175+battery+brand+new&_sacat=See-All-Categories I recommend a calibration software for health of your battery too. Battery must be used. Never used them also lose its life on shelf. (try to not buy more than 1 year old manufactured date battery, best is same season produced battery) I recommend binary trick watts for calibration. http://www.macosxapplications.com/system-disk-utilities/binary-tricks-watts-calibration-tool-mac-battery/ I am generally using batteries more than 700 cycle even they rated with 300 cycle with %80 life. I can maintain them 400 cycle with %90 life. Usage and weather conditions are another issues. Never use your computer without battery, without battery it is lower / nearly half / speed. http://www.macosxapplications.com/tips/macbook-macbook-pro-reduces-processor-speed-battery-removed-operating-ac-adaptor/ 2010/7/27 Lawrence David Eden <[email protected]> > I need to buy my daughter a replacement battery for her Mac Book Pro Core > Duo, 15" Laptop. > It came with Apple's A1175 battery. > > If any of you have suggestions as to what to buy and where to buy it, I > would be grateful. > > Thanks, > > Larry > > -- > You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for > those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power > Macs. > The list FAQ is at http://lowendmac.com/lists/g-list.shtml and our > netiquette guide is at http://www.lowendmac.com/lists/netiquette.shtml > To post to this group, send email to [email protected] > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/g3-5-list > -- Baha Ata -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
