Hello List, I have a hand me down B&W (300Mhz, I think), with 1GB of RAM, which usually turns on to a blinking folder. I'm using a G3 PowerBook disk that was sold to me as a generic OS 9 install by an online store (and which really installs OS 9 to virtually every compatible machine except for MDDs and such) to boot it. It starts booting, and hangs. Booting with extensions off does not do a think. Lately, it starts, but gives no chime and boots to a dark screen.
Can anybody help me figure out what's going on?
