If by MIDI ports you mean the standard 5-pin 2-port I/O arrangement, then
no. If, however, you include a simple break-out arrangement where the MIDI
I/O is connected to the Mac via USB, then the answer is yes. If you also
include the myriad of simple MIDI- input controllers that connect directly
via USB (w/ no need of the 2-port I/O), then the answer is YES. Many of
these, like the M-Audio MIDIport, offer a simple 1x1 MIDI connection with no
need of drivers.
